Carli Pierson is a New York licensed attorney, writer and professor of law. 

Carli spent her first year of college at the Universidad de Belgrano in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she received a diploma in Argentine and Latin American Studies.

She received her BA in Islamic World Studies from DePaul University in 2006, and  her Juris Doctorate in 2012 from Nova Southeastern University's Shepard Broad Law Center, cum laude, with a concentration in international law.
